According to Dickenson County Commonwealth's Attorney Seth Baker, Jamie Neal Sykes faces 20 years to life on each charge.
An Alford Plea means Sykes admits there is enough evidence to convict him in a trial, but he does not admit guilt.
On March 7, Sykes waived his preliminary hearing during an appearance in General District Court.

A formal sentencing hearing has been scheduled for November 30 2017.
