The classes meet each Thursday from 2 to 3:30 p.m., January 19 through March 9, at the Wise County Health Department’s Conference Room, 134 Roberts Avenue, SW, in Wise.
“According to the American Lung Association, most smokers are not successful the first time they try to quit, but with each subsequent attempt they become a little wiser and closer to that goal,” said LENOWISCO Health Educator Shirley Miller. “The Freedom from Smoking campaign aims to change the way people think about past quit attempts and motivate them to try again.”
