Police arrested Timothy Mark Damon, 47, of Kimper Thursday night.
Police say Damon ran into the Double Kwik in Justiceville, pulled a gun and demanded money and cigarettes.
"At the time there is an undetermined amount of money and several cartons of cigarettes," said Kentucky State Police Trooper William Petry.
Damon was wearing a black leather jacket, a mask, sunglasses and jeans. He left in a dark colored hatchback but police do not know what direction he went in.
This is the fourth robbery in the county in a matter of weeks, but during this time of year, Petry says many are looking to make a quick buck.
"During the holiday season the robberies have picked up and it is probably to do with Christmas and people trying to get money and so forth," said Petry.
It is recommended to all shop owners to tighten security and have multiple people working when possible.
Petry said the robbery at the Total Care Pharmacy in South Williamson on Tuesday and the robbery on Thursday are believed to be connected.
