Shortly after arriving, Troopers called Letcher County Coroner Renee Campbell.
"I arrived on scene around 1 a.m.," Renee Campbell who is the Letcher County Coroner said.
Campbell said when she got there, she found a man and a woman dead outside of their home.
"The male was Mark Mullins 27 years-old, the female was Tiffany Hatton 23 years-old," Campbell said.
Kentucky State Police report the couple died from a suspected murder-suicide.
"It appears to be gunshot wounds," Campbell said.
Campbell said it is her belief the couple had an infant.
"To my understanding, it was not involved in anything at the scene," Campbell said.
She believes no one else is in danger.
"It appears at this time that only the two deceased are the only ones involved in this," Campbell said.
Campbell said both Mullins and Hatton's bodies have been taken to the State Medical Examiner's Office in Frankfort, where their autopsies will be performed.
