A report given Friday by County Attorney Karen Mullins confirms the locality's review of Susan Light following her arrests for assault on two different occasions within the last three months.
Court records show Light's latest arrest came last week in Sevierville, TN when police were called to a hotel at 225 Collier Drive on Dec. 11 in reference to a domestic violence situation.
The officer said he witnessed a man identified as Light's boyfriend Timothy Bolinskey standing over a small pool of blood on the floor and holding his finger.
The affidavit said that Bolinskey told police that "the two had been drinking and was arguing about past experiences" when he said that Light bit his finger and smacked him in the face.
The report said that Light also had marks on her body that she said were from an attack from Bolinskey. The officer charged both with domestic assault, the document said.
A check of records in General District Court in Wise County shows Light was arrested for misdemeanor assault on Oct. 24 after a complaint was issued by Bolinskey.
Light is scheduled to appear in that court on Tuesday.
Mullins concluded that no action has been taken in regard to Light's work status
