Thursday, Sept, 29, 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Festivities will start on the Blountville campus at 11:00 a.m. and include family amusement activities and food trucks. At 2:00 p.m., former Northeast State presidents and Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey will gather at the Amphitheater to commemorate the College's anniversary. This will also be an opportunity to welcome back Tennessee Promise students for the fall semester.
At 6:00 p.m., The Breakfast Club®, a popular 80's tribute band from Atlanta, will perform followed by Fastball at 8:00 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public. Visitors are encouraged to bring chairs and/or blankets to sit on during the concert. No alcoholic beverages will be allowed. Crowd seating will be provided in the grassy area behind the Technical Education complex. Food trucks and vendors will be located between the Wade Powers Science Building and the Automotive and Welding Building. A map detailing the event locations is provided with this advisory.
