Wendy Goad, 38, of Comfort, West Virginia will be sentenced by a circuit court judge for one count of grand larceny, credit card fraud, attempted credit card fraud and credit card forgery, according to Commowealth's Attorney Chuck Slemp.
Investigators said Goad dropped off the elderly patient at another house and then went back to the woman's home and stole several items. The victim also gave a check card to the nurse buy groceries for her. Instead, Goad used the card at several businesses including $495 worth of items from Walmart, Slemp said.
Goad has a presentence hearing set for March 14, according to court records
